CRAIC Radio Brings Some Dublin to Philly

Feb. 09, 2017

With over 20 years of experience managing artists and booking bands, our Senior Talent Buyer Sean Timmons is diving even deeper into the music industry. While he’s not at the Mole handling entertainment bookings for our live bands in Philadelphia, Sean is keeping up with the latest and greatest sounds that this city has to offer by adding an Irish accent to Philly’s airwaves.

Sean has teamed up with fellow Dubliner-turned-Philadelphian Fergus ‘Fergie’ Carey to bring this city some much needed craic- an Irish term for “fun and entertainment, especially good conversation and company.” Brought together by a mutual love of music and a desire to add to the richness of Philadelphia/American radio, Fergie and Sean’s main priority for CRAIC Radio is to incorporate new and forgotten songs or artists into the music scene.

“We’ve known each other a long time. We both know that we like music a lot. We both came from Dublin to Philadelphia. We love it here, we love Philadelphia, but we also feel like we have an outside view of things from time to time.”

The weekly show, hosted by Sean and Fergie will serve up a fresh mix of Irish and American music, complete with commentary on the artists, their songs and suggestions for further listening. Don’t miss CRAIC Radio every Thursday from 3:00pm to 5:00pm onPhillyCAM’s WPPM 106.5FM, where listeners can access the old fashioned way, or via phillycam.org.
