Punxsutawney Phil predicted a longer winter, but by the looks of Philly lately, spring will be in bloom sooner than expected. Lancaster Roots and Blues Festival- February 24-26, 2017 in Lancaster, PA
Looking for some last minute weekend plans? In the heart of Lancaster County, the Roots and Blues Festival brings music lovers from near and far to explore the city of Lancaster. The Governor’s Ball- June 2-4, 2017 in New York City, NY
Tickets are going fast for these three days of all things music and art in the city that never sleeps. The annual Governor’s Ball takes over Randall’s Island Park for a long weekend each year to help New Yorker’s blow off some steam before heating up for the summer.
The Roots Picnic- June 3, 2017 in Philadelphia, PA
This year marks the 10th Annual Roots Picnic at Festival Pier, a Philly classic. With views of the Delaware River, local food and vendors on site, this festival is sure to be a great kickoff for Summer ‘17. Tickets were just released but unfortunately are already SOLD OUT. Firefly Music Festival- June 15-18, 2017 in Dover, DE
Delaware’s annual Firefly Music Festival is back and (arguably) better than ever. With a variety of familiar faces in music, from The Weeknd and Chance the Rapper to Bob Dylan and Franz Ferdinand, this four day bash has something for everyone. There are even some top notch local acts on the line up: Hardwork Movement, Chill Moody, OddKidOut and Ill Fated Natives. By providing a lush wooded landscape for camping and an extensive roster of local vendors, this premier music experience will surely not disappoint.
